I hope you and your trees have been coping with the intense weather we’ve had this month!
Our July meeting will feature a presentation and workshop on Wire Application. This will primarily focus on teaching beginners and those new to the hobby how to apply wire and style a tree(although experienced practitioners may pick up some tips as well.) Our guest presenter will be Rob Hoffman of Yume-en Bonsai and president of the Columbus Bonsai Society. His presentation will run roughly 2 hours, we’ll break for lunch(pizza will be provided) and then have a workshop session. There is no cost to participate in the workshop but please send me an email to let me know if you plan to join. Bring your own tree(s), tools and wire. Dan will likely have wire available for purchase as well.
